Management Training that changes how your leaders think and act
We run focused, practical programs for managers who already have responsibility but want sharper tools. Our workshops happen in Québec City and online, in cohorts small enough that every participant gets individual feedback.
Each program below targets a specific gap we see again and again in mid-level management teams. They can be taken individually or combined into a longer development track. Click through to our services page for full details, schedules, and pricing.
Decision-making under pressure
A two-day intensive that puts managers through realistic case simulations. Participants learn a structured decision framework and practise it until it becomes reflexive. Cohort size is capped at twelve.
Coaching skills for managers
Four half-day sessions spread over a month. Managers learn to hold effective one-on-ones, give feedback that actually changes behaviour, and build development plans their reports will follow through on.
Leadership self-assessment
A 360-degree feedback process combined with a half-day debrief. Each participant walks away with a written profile of their strengths, blind spots, and three concrete goals for the next quarter.
Why we exist
Most management training feels generic because it is. We started Insightful Management Path in 2017 after spending a decade inside corporate L&D departments and watching the same off-the-shelf courses fail to change real behaviour on the job.
Our approach is different in two ways. First, every program uses live case studies drawn from the participants' own organisations, not textbook scenarios from unrelated industries. Second, we follow up. Every cohort gets three check-in calls over the 90 days after the workshop, so new habits actually stick.
Since 2017 we have trained over 1,400 managers across Quebec, Ontario, and the Maritimes. Our facilitators have between 8 and 22 years of management experience themselves, in sectors ranging from healthcare administration to manufacturing logistics. They teach what they have done, not what they have read about.
We keep our class sizes small. Twelve participants is the maximum for workshops; six for coaching cohorts. That is a deliberate constraint, not a limitation. It means every person in the room gets direct, specific feedback on their work during the session.
What participants say
"I have sat through dozens of leadership workshops. This was the first time I left with a plan I actually used the following Monday. The facilitator challenged my assumptions about delegation in a way that was uncomfortable but productive."
— Catherine Morin, operations director, Lévis
"The coaching skills module changed how I run my weekly one-on-ones. I used to spend 80% of the time giving updates. Now my reports do most of the talking, and the quality of our project output has noticeably improved over three months."
— Jean-François Allard, IT manager, Québec City
"The 360 assessment was eye-opening. I thought my team trusted me fully, but the data showed a gap between how I saw my communication style and how they experienced it. The debrief session gave me a concrete roadmap to close that gap."
— Priya Deshmukh, program manager, Montréal
